Sylvia is new to Rock of Ages. She started at the beginning of 3rd term in September 2017.

Both of Sylvia's brothers, Nicholas and Frank currently attend Rock of Ages School and are sponsored. Recently her father left the family to remarry and sold all the household possessions, including the sewing machine Sylvia's mom used to support the family.  Now  her mom tends other people's gardens to earn money for buying food, paying rent and scholastic materials for the children.

Please prayerfully consider sponsoring Sylvia. Your $30/month sponsorship provides a spot at Rock of Ages School for Sylvia and enables her to continue receiving an education by qualified teachers, a meal each school day, and medical care. Please also contemplate the possibility of upgrading to a premium sponsorship of $50/month, adding a food pack of rice, eggs, and other staple foods to be provided to Sylvia's family at the first of each month during the school term.

Joshua has Been Sponsored!
Joshua is new to Rock of Ages, his first day at school being last week, June 22, 2017.
Joshua's parents enrolled him at ROA at the beginning of the term which started at the end of May. He never showed up for school. Betty, being the loving and inquisitive person that she is, decided to visit Joshua's family in order to understand why he had never came.

She found that Joshua has a family of five. He is the second born at four years old and has a brother and sister. His parents are married, his mother is unemployed, and his father recently lost a job that provided the family with a stable income. His father now works to earn just $16 per month.

Joshua's parents felt that they could not afford to send him to school once his father lost his steady income. Luckily Rock of Ages exists to help children in this exact situation!

Please prayerfully consider sponsoring Joshua. Your $30/month sponsorship provides a spot at Rock of Ages School for Joshua and enables him to continue receiving an education by qualified teachers, a meal each school day, and medical care. Please also contemplate the possibility of upgrading to a premium sponsorship of $50/month, adding a food pack of rice, eggs, and other staple foods to be provided to Joshua's
family at the first of each month during the school term.

Samuel has been sponsored!
Samuel lives with his mother, brother, and sister. His younger sister, Jemima, who is 18 months old, was just diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. Samuel's birthday is the 24th of April 2012. He is currently in Middle Class (PK4).

Please prayerfully consider sponsoring Samuel. We are looking for a sponsor who would be willing to donate $50/month for "premium sponsorship". A "premium sponsorship" will ensure that Samuel will be provided with an education by qualified teachers, a meal each school day, and medical care, with an additional food pack of rice, eggs, and other staple foods for his family. Samuel's mother will receive this package at the first of each month during the school term. Our hope is that without the added burden of purchasing food for the family, that they will be able to cover the needed treatments for Jemima's condition.
