This March a team of seven individuals representing Hands4Uganda (H4U) will be heading to Mbiko, Uganda to serve the children at Rock of Ages School (ROA)! While there, they hope to bless each student with a new pair of shoes. Most of the students at ROA cannot afford more than one pair shoes which they often wear only to school or church. It is also common for children to wear their shoes to bed at night to protect their feet from rats and other insects while they sleep. As shoes are expensive, most children will wear a pair until they are severely outgrown and/or unwearable.

We are partnering with an amazing organization called “The Shoe That Grows”.  This organization has created a shoe designed for children living in extreme poverty who otherwise would not have access to shoes. Working with industry experts, “The Shoe That Grows” has created a simple shoe design with high quality materials that are easily adjusted and cleaned. Our favorite part - these shoes have 5X the impact of ordinary shoes because they expand 5 sizes! These shoes will be a great blessing for the students at ROA, providing comfort and protection, as well as shoes that can be worn often without the fear of wear and tear. For more information about the “The Shoe That Grows”  please visit:

The team is hoping to raise enough money to deliver 300 pairs of shoes to ROA - one pair for each of the 270 students plus a few extra for any new students. Socks will also be provided for the students and will be purchased locally in Uganda.

Please consider donating $20 to this fundraiser ensuring your sponsored child receives a new pair of shoes and socks. To make your donation, please follow this secure link: Soles 4 Souls Fundraiser
